By accepting all these Terms of Service through the use of this Site, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. These responsibilities include all financial charges and legal liability that she/he may incur. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, do not use this Site. Providing any inaccurate information may constitute a breach of the Terms of Service. You agree to pay for and accept the item by confirming your purchase at the end of the checkout process and or using the Site.
You should assume all materials (including text, images, illustrations, icons, designs, etc.) that are part of this Site are intended only for personal, non-commercial use. All software used on this Site is the property of Maurer Marine or its suppliers and protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. Your security and privacy is very important to us.
Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. We have several methods in place to accept orders at this time. Of which is subject to change without notice. The first and simplest way is to send us a request via email. The second method would be to place an approved phone order. The last method would be to browse our online store and place an order that way. After you have finished your selection, click on the “Checkout” button and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept most forms of payment. This includes most major credit cards, cash, check, wire transfer, pay-pal funds and gift certificates. Payment data can be sent to us via email, fax, phone, certified mail or online approved transactions. Credit Card orders over $400 are subject to a small variable administration fee which will be disclosed on your final invoice or by request prior to the sale.
We usually process all orders right away. We will normally send your order to you within the time frame specified for each item. If no time is displayed you can expect the order to ship from our location in less than 5 working days, MOST orders ship same day. For will call orders, you will be notified when your order is ready for pickup via phone or email. Delivery time for most orders will be 1-7 working days. Please be aware that shipping times vary and on average take 1-6 business days for delivery. Shipping costs are automatically estimated due to frequent carrier changes. If changes are necessary you will be notified via email before your order is processed. If you prefer your parts be shipping USPS or another method please notify us at info@maurermarine and we will readjust your carrier costs. Shipping discounts to be discussed via email when an order is placed if applicable
If your item is not in stock, we will put your order on a special request. You will be notified in 1-5 days if your item is on back-order and delivery status changes. You will have a one time option to cancel your order within 24hrs of notification. Back-ordered items may take up to 120 days. Cancellation of the order may result in a re-stocking fee and return freight charge set in place by the manufacturer. If you would like to cancel an order we recommend you contact us right away to limit the possibility of incurring any charges.
Manufacturers will change or interchange part numbers as things change and time passes. If you request an item with an outdated part number we will interchange your “old” part number request to the most current available number. Your older number may no longer be available. We will try to supply the closest match possible in the cycle of changes. We can not be held liable for inaccuracies or changes set forth by our manufacturers.
All orders picked up or shipping within the state of California will have to pay sales tax. All other orders shipping outside of California are tax free.

We offer an automatic 15% Off MSRP pricing when part numbers are emailed to us or orders are placed online
If you find your parts else where with a greater savings we will try our best to match that price and/or beat it. Please use caution when ordering parts online from non-dealer sites as many may sell imitation OEM parts, charge extra fees, provide little product knowledge, have a poor returns policy, have high handling charges or bill inflated shipping cost. Factory dealer’s nation-wide need your business and have the best connection for your genuine parts. We at Maurer Marine believe it’s important to support the dealer network and will price match to be a competitive player with ecommerce. There are absolutely no returns or exchanges on any electrical parts, decals, promotional items, special orders, NLA parts and care products opened. We will work to accommodate any return with our customers but our held to OEM return standards. If for any reason a return is needed you may incur a restock fee. In most cases the restock fee will be between 20%. Please be sure of what you need before ordering and contact us if you need any clarifications.
All returns must have a return authorization number for approval and have a copy of your original invoice showing the item for return. Please call or email us prior to resending any merchandise back to us so we can promptly handle your request. Any returns send back without prior approval or inaccurate return documentation will be responsible for return freight or will forfeit the return process.
Order Canceling – Part Orders Only
We understand certain situations may arise where an order or parts off an order may need to be canceled. Maurer Marine works extremely hard to fill orders in the shortest amount of time possible. Therefore, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible by sending an email to email@example.com or calling us at (949) 645-7673. All orders canceled may be subject to a 20% restocking fee based on the specific parts ordered. This fee is based on 20% of the merchandise value. We will work hard to accommodate all customer needs, however, if the order has already entered the shipping process then it will be subject to these fees.
Q.Why is there a restocking fee?
A. There are two reasons for these fees: The shipping fee we encounter due to returning the unwanted part to the manufacturer and the cost of the restocking fee the manufacturer charges us. Maurer Marine does absorb the shipping cost but we pass a portion of the restocking fee that the manufacturer charges us to you the customer.
Q.Will I be charged the restocking fee if I am changing the part to the correct one?
A.You will not be charged a restocking fee for replacing the part or parts with the correct items needed, however, there are some exceptions (lower units, powerheads, gear cases, power trim units, top cowlings, etc). Once the order enters the shipping process the order is subject to restocking fees.
Prices are subject to change due to manufacturer or interchanged part numbers in the event that this happens we will contact you prior to shipping. Over sized boxes (i.e. lower units) will cost slightly more to ship. Prices subject to change without notice, in the event of a price increase/decrease we will contact you prior to finalizing your order. Large or heavy items (ie. power heads) will be sent freight as UPS has limitations. Please allow extra time for package delivery around weekends and holidays.
Please note that Maurer Marine, Inc. is not responsible for expenses, fees or other costs incurred by our customers as a result of defective or incompatible products. In our efforts to provide our customers a complete catalog and parts listing some items may no longer be available for purchase or discontinued from the manufacturer but are still displayed. This also includes upgraded parts or super-cessions.
NLA or Changed Items
Maurer Marine, Inc. will verify every order and make reasonable attempts to locate the needed items. In the event our customers order or request can not be fulfilled we will issue a refund and close the order. If you will be ordering any parts for products older than 15 years it maybe in your best interest to call or email us with your requested items so that we can check the availability. We will make a reasonable attempt to notify you of any NLA items. If we do not hear from you we will close your order and issue a refund if the items are not available. In the event that a partial order is available, we will ship the available items and issue a full refund for the items NLA.
All manufacturers, over time, supersede old parts for new ones. The main reason for doing so is to improve quality or fix imperfections without losing any of the functionality. All superseded items are in accordance with the specifications of the original item it was superseded from, but you might expect some minor differences in detail. We have no control over a manufacturer’s decision to supersede a part. Please note, in most cases if a superseded part is offered it is because the original part has been discontinued and is no longer available. If you do not want a superseded part or have any questions about availability, please notify us by email or by phone at the time of your order.
The Trademarks and logos or images posted on this site are registered and unregistered Trademarks of Maurer Marine and their respected owners. Nothing enclosed on this site should be construed as granting, by implication, any license or right to use any Trademark displayed on the Site, or a trademark owned by a third party. In the event that you misuse any Trademark in violation of these Terms and Conditions, Maurer Marine will assertively enforce its property rights to the fullest degree of the law, including seeking criminal prosecution.
